About

The Let’s Get There Playbook is a guide to action that offers individuals, organizations, communities, and the region flexibility as we harmonize our responses to global climate changes. The Playbook is a compilation of strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions tailored to address the needs of our diverse communities. The Playbook was developed based on stakeholder feedback and built on input from across the region from more than 2,000 individuals. The Playbook’s online database is a living resource that will be updated periodically with new and refined strategies.

The Playbook is published and maintained by the County of San Diego Office of Sustainability and Environmental Justice, and was developed in partnership with the University of San Diego’s Energy Policy Innovation Center (EPIC).

The Playbook is part of the County of San Diego’s Regional Decarbonization Framework (RDF) initiative, a regional approach to collectively move San Diego County toward net-zero carbon emissions via community- and data-driven solutions. The Playbook is one of the foundational RDF publications, drawing from the Technical Report, Workforce Development Study, and other regional research efforts.
